ServiceCraft Goes Gold in 2008!
BUENA PARK, California (Jun. 9, 2008) – In 2008, ServiceCraft Logistics celebrates its “golden” year of providing national integrated logistics and specialized value added services.
Along with a 50-year anniversary comes the announcement of ServiceCraft’s new president, as well as significant facility expansions.
ServiceCraft’s newly appointed President & COO, Peter McLoughlin, said, “We are starting the year with very significant good news and are taking a very aggressive approach to growing ServiceCraft in the year ahead. We are working to develop further business with existing clients as well as targeting contract wins in new sectors to further grow our warehouse business to be more competitive and effective.”
In the first quarter of 2008, ServiceCraft expanded its relationship with a 40 year client, being a Fortune 100 Global Food Manufacturer, and opened up a satellite operation in Tracy, CA. The new Northern California distribution center will operate for seasonal overflow. ServiceCraft’s partnership with this Fortune 50 Company also includes over 750,000 square feet of dedicated operations in other facilities in both Modesto, California and Lancaster, Texas.
Additionally, after being awarded the 3PL provider for one of the world’s largest corporations, a top beverage manufacturer, for the second consecutive year in Grand Prairie, Texas, ServiceCraft furthered its partnership with this same account via a brand new facility in Ontario, California. This 432,308 square foot dedicated facility was miraculously started up from scratch and opened in just 3 days fully functional with ServiceCraft’s WMS and RF capabilities.
The added warehouse space brings ServiceCraft’s current total to 4.6 million square feet in facilities across North America.
